Mark Fink is the Associate Vice Provost of Online Education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In his administrative role, he manages one of the leading public university online programs with an emphasis on students successfully achieving significant learning outcomes. In the academic realm, Mark researches various aspects of online learning, or E-Learning, and has published many articles, proccedings, chapters, and texts on social interaction in an online learning environment, cognition, metacognition, and administration of E-Learning in higher education. Prior to his 1995 venture into higher education and learning technologies, Mark worked for and consulted with several Fortune 100 companies in providing technology as a competitive advantage.
